Introduction of CHCOC (Canada Heilongjiang Chamber of Commerce)
加拿大黑龙江龙商总会,(以下简称龙商总会), 成立于加拿大黑龙江协会的基础上，已有十三年的发展历史。在加拿大多伦多市有非常广泛的影响力和知名度。龙商总会是在适应加拿大龙江企业的发展需要，由众多加拿大籍的知名龙江商人，龙头企业家和各行业资深专业人士自愿组成的非盈利性机构。经加拿大联邦政府注册批准，龙商总会于2015年11月9日正式落户于加拿大安大略省的多伦多市，为华人企业在加拿大资源共享、交流合作提供了重要平台。
CHCOC was founded based on the foundation of Heilongjiang Association, which has over 13 years of history serving Chinese community in Toronto, Ontario with very wide influence and visibility. The formation of CHCOC is the nature adaption to the development needs of Canadian Heilongjiang businesses. It was a non-profit organization initially founded by a group of outstanding Canadian Heilongjiang entrepreneurs and elite professionals voluntarily. CHCOC was officially registered with the Federal Government on November 11th, 2015. It plays a key role in the Chinese community to promote and aid the development of local entrepreneurs, create a platform for cooperative opportunities and enhance the overall strength of local economy.

Overview of Heilongjiang Province
黑龙江省位于中国的东北端，其地理纬度，自然天气于安大略省十分相近。黑龙江全省土地总面积45.3万平方公里，人口3835万。2014年全年地区生产总值 (GDP) 实现15039.4亿元；全年进出口额389.0亿美元。
Heilongjiang Province is located in the northeastern part of China, its geographic latitude and weather are very similar the Province of Ontario. The whole province covers an area of 453,000 square kilometers and it has a population of over 38 million people. In 2014, the regional GDP was over 1,500 billion Yuan and the total amount of imports and exports was over 38 billion U.S. Dollars.
此外黑龙江省是中国最大的冰雪旅游基地和生态旅游基地。冰雪风光、冰雪旅游、冰雪运动、冰雪艺术等别具一格。哈尔滨（黑龙江省省会）冰雪大世界、冰灯游园会蜚声中外。加拿大的冰球运动也是黑龙江的广为流行的体育项目，有很多优秀的球队和球员。
Heilongjiang Province is the largest ice and snow tourism base and eco-tourism base in China. The ice and snow sceneries, the ice and snow tourism, the ice and snow sports and the ice and snow arts are very unique. Harbin Ice and Snow World and Harbin Ice Lantern Show are well-known all over the world as well. Like here in Canada, Hokey is also very popular in China, there are lots of top class teams and super star players.

CHCOC (The Canada Heilongjiang Chamber of Commerce) is willing to help on the promotion and contribution of sports and culture exchange between the two provinces.
哈洽会简介
Introduction of the Heilong Harbin International Economics and Trade Exhibit
一年一度的黑龙江省哈尔滨国际经济贸易洽谈会（简称哈洽会），是经中国政府批准举办的国家级、国际性大型经贸展览会。自1990年创办以来，哈洽会已经成功连续举办了26届，累计有80多个国家和地区的近180万中外客商参会参展，总成交额超千亿美元。哈洽会已发展成为享誉国内外的国家级、国际性经贸盛会，中俄及东北亚区域经贸合作的重要平台。
The annual Heilongjiang Harbin International Economics and Trade Exhibit (here referred as Trade Exhibit) is a large scale international exhibition that approved and organized by the Chinese government. Since inception in 1990, there have been 26 exhibitions successfully held in Harbin. There have been nearly 1.8 million foreign and domestic merchants from over 80 countries and regions participated in the exhibitions, with total turnover of billions of dollars. This trade exhibit has become a world famous international trade fair and an important platform for China-Russia economic and the overall trade cooperation in Northeast Asia.
2016年的哈洽会将于6月15号到6月19号在黑龙江省哈尔滨市隆重举行。据了解，本届哈洽会有来自世界五大洲各个国家和地区的数万名国外客商，全国31个省、市、自治区的10万名国内客商参会参展，共举办商务对接、洽谈推介、会议论坛等活动，共展出两万多种商品，参展中外企业近两千户。
The 27th Heilongjiang Harbin International Economics and Trade Exhibit will be held in Harbin from June 15th to June 19th. It's anticipated that tens of thousands of merchants will participate this exhibit from all over the world. Over twenty thousands of products will be exhibited and close engagement among all participants in activities such as product promotions, conference and forums for discussions, etc.

Bilateral Partnership Opportunity
2015年，中国发布《推动共建“一带一路”的愿景与行动》，这是中国向国际社会提供的公共产品。目前已同20多个国家签署相关合作协议，中国企业对相关国家直接投资超过150亿美元。
The Heilongjiang province is following the strategy of "One Belt and One Road" brought forward by the State Government of China in 2015, and Heilongjiang has been making great effort to promote the construction of the land-ocean Silk Road economic belt. This is a strategic initiative on international level and more than 20 countries have signed the Cooperation Agreement with the Province of Heilongjiang. Over 15 billion U.S. dollars direct investments were initiated. CHCOC, as a well-positioned and experienced Ontario/Toronto local Chamber of Commerce, believes this is a golden opportunity for the two Provinces to establish bilateral cooperation and further expand economic development and strengthen the Canada-China relationship.

Government Official – CHCOC Summit in Heilongjiang
前不久，黑龙江省经贸厅，侨联和桥办的有关领导隆重会见了加拿大龙商总会会长黄屏先生一行。高度赞扬了龙商总会为两省的深度合作牵线搭桥所做出的贡献。黑龙江省各部门领导纷纷表示了赞同，明确了安大略和黑龙江两省拥有广泛的共同利益和良好的合作基础的大政方针，对两省未来的经济及文化领域的交流充满了信心。省领导同时嘱托黄会长一行向安大略省，多伦多市的各级领导带去由衷的问候，并诚挚的邀请省市各级领导携考察团出席参加6月的哈洽会开幕庆典，并由中方负责安省考察团在中国的一应费用。黑龙江省各级领导希望以次契机拉开两省互访，经济考察的序幕，为后续的双边合作奠定坚实的基础。
Not long ago, Mr. Huang, the president of CHCOC, p a business trip back to Heilongjiang and had the opportunity to meet with government officials from the Heilongjiang Province Economic and Trade Office and the Federation of Overseas Chinese Affairs. Mr. Huang introduced the history of CHCOC and its mission and shared his vision of how CHCOC could contribute the cooperation between the two provinces to help boost economy and increase bilateral trades. The minister of the Province Economic and Trade Office and the Federation of Overseas Chinese Affairs highly praised CHCOC's past contribution to the collaboration between the two provinces. Both parties cherish the broad common interests of the two provinces and very confident about the great partnership in the future. Both ministers asked Mr. Huang to pass their greetings to the Government of Ontario and City of Toronto and officially invite provincial and municipal leaders at all levels and/or their delegations to attend the opening ceremony in June for the Heilongjiang Harbin International Economics and Trade Exhibit. The Government of Heilongjiang Province will cover all cost occurred in China for Ontario and Toronto government officials with pleasure. Both ministers hope to leverage this incredible opportunity to open the communication of the two provinces and build a solid foundation for future bilateral cooperation.

The History of Canada and China
回望历史，中加关系源远流长。两国交往可以追溯到一百多年前中国劳工来加拿大修筑“太平洋铁路”到第二次世界大战期间，中加两国人民并肩抗击法西斯，白求恩大夫的英雄事迹在中国家喻户晓。1970年，中加正式建交，加拿大成为最早与中华人民共和国建交的西方国家之一，两国关系由此揭开了新篇章。
Canada and China has a long history. The first point contact can be dated more than one hundred years ago, when Chinese labors came to Canada and contributed on the completion of the famous "Pacific Railway" that still benefit lots of people till today. Then there was the World War II, when the two countries fought against the fascist together, and how the heroic Ontario born Dr. Bethune who saved many lives back then, and is still very well known to every household in China today. Canada established forma diplomatic relations with China in 1970 and that made Canada became one of the first Western countries to start diplomatic relations with China. It was a moment in history, a moment that opened a new chapter of the relationships of the two countries.
建交46年来，中加经贸交流不断深化，合作水平持续提高。双边贸易额由建交之初的1.5亿美元增长到去年的557亿美元，中国继续保持加拿大第二大贸易伙伴地位。2014年10月，《中加投资保护协定（FIPA）》正式生效，是两国经贸关系的重要一步；去年11月，习近平主席同特鲁多总理首次会晤，达成广泛共识，为中加战略伙伴关系下阶段发展指明了方向。今年3月7日，特鲁多总理到访多伦多动物园，出席旅居多伦多的中国大熊猫“二顺”的双胞胎宝宝命名仪式，李克强总理专门发来贺信。前不久，两只熊猫幼崽“加盼盼”和“加悦悦”在多伦多呱呱坠地，给中加关系带来了新的喜悦和祝福。中加关系可谓喜事连连。
Since the establishment of the diplomatic relationship 46 years ago, the economic and trade exchange has significantly developed and the level of cooperation continues to improve. The bilateral trade volume has increased from 150 million U.S. Dollars to 55.7 billion U.S. Dollars, this makes China the second largest trading partner for Canada. With the placement of the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) in October 2014, the tow counties' relations have moved a big step forward. In November 2015, Prime Minister Trudeau and Chairman Xi met for the first time, and they have reached consensus on board range of subjects, which led a clear strategic development direction for Canada and China. Prime Minister Trudeau visited the Toronto Zoo on March 7th, 2016, and joined the naming ceremony of the twin baby pandas - Canadian Hope and the Canadian Joy, children of the famous Er Shun and Da Mao. Premier Li Keqiang sent a special congratulatory message for this happy moment. This brought continues joy and blessing to the two great nations.

随着两国经贸往来的不断加深，开启安大略和黑龙江两省的强强联合，领导互访和经贸合作的时机更加成熟。加拿大龙商总会，作为两国，两省联系的纽带，愿为中加两国的文化和经济交流积极努力，希望促进安大略和黑龙江两省政府的多元合作，希望双方能抓住机遇，共同努力，推动两国关系更上一层楼。在次，加拿大龙商总会带着龙江人民的嘱托，转达黑龙江省领导对安大略省及多伦多市各级领导的访问邀请，邀请各级领导出席6月的哈洽会开幕庆典活动。中方省市政府的书面邀请函会很快提交至安省及多市政府相关部门。
With the deepening economic and trade exchanges between the two countries, the timing of opening bilateral cooperation, increasing leadership visits and economic and trade cooperation, is more mature and the time is now. CHCOC acting as the bridge between the two great nations, between the two great provinces, are committed to support government of the two provinces and to contribute on promoting culture and economic cooperation. We hope the two sides can seize the opportunity to make joint efforts to push bilateral relations to a higher level. With the request of the Government of Heilongjiang Province, CHCOC is deeply honored to pass their official invitation to the Government of Ontario and City of Toronto, inviting you and/or your delegates to attend the opening ceremony in June of the 27th Heilongjiang Harbin International Economics and Trade Exhibit. All cost occurred by Ontario and Toronto government officials in China will be covered by the Government of Heilongjiang Province with great pleasure. The Government official invitation letter will be submitted to the proper government office of Ontario and Toronto.

First of all, I want to thank you for your incredible support to CHCOC. It is your active participation and support who helped CHCOC’s continues growth. We are delighted to provide this platform for everyone to identify business opportunities, share resources and establish collaborations.
As the development of Canada-China trade and economic cooperation moving forward, the relationship between Ontario and Heilongjiang will be closer than ever. CHCOC are committed to actively promote the trade and cultural exchangebetween the two great Provinces.
Our Mission:
• Provide a service platform to all Heilongjiang entrepreneurs to support new initiatives and promote local business developments.
• Build a bridge to stimulate international trades and introduce investment projects between Canada and China.

We are relatively a young organization, but we have a very solid foundation since inception. We have over one hundred member companies that are dedicated to CHCOC with full support.
